INTRODUCTION

JEE is a joint exam conducted by various engineering colleges all over the country for admissions in engineering and architecture courses. The joint entrance exam is conducted at a national level for 24 Indian institutes of technology colleges, 32 national institutes of technology colleges, 18 Indian institutes of information and technology colleges, and 19 government-funded technological institutes. Students get admission to these colleges based on their rank in JEE. JEE is conducted into sections that are, JEE Main and JEE advanced.

Renamed in 2013 JEE Main conducts exams in three courses, B-tech, B-Arch, and B-Planning. The syllabus of all three courses is based on the syllabus of 11th and 12th standard to relieve students from extra study pressure.

JEE Advanced is conducted under two shapes on the same day. It has paper 1 and paper 2 categories which are mandatory for all the aspirants to be present. Aspirants rank decides their admission to undergraduate, masters, and dual degree courses. Subjects of evaluation are the same as of JEE mains, Maths, Physics, and chemistry.
